Phillip Rodokanakis is the original founder of U.S. Data Forensics, LLC, a company providing computer forensics, eDiscovery, expert witness, and litigation support services.

Mr. Rodokanakis is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), an EnCase® Certified Examiner (EnCE), and a Digital Forensic Certified Practitioner (DFCP) with more than 30 years experience in international and domestic investigations.  Mr. Rodokanakis brings to U.S. Data Forensics, LLC, a combination of technical expertise in the Information Technology field and many years of investigative experience in conducting white collar crime investigations as well as prosecutions of complex financial frauds.

Mr. Rodokanakis has a solid professional background in computer forensics and advanced Information Technology systems. He has conducted numerous forensic examinations of computer systems and provides services as an expert witness in the areas of digital forensics and data recovery. Mr.  Rodokanakis also teaches Computer Forensics and Incident Response courses for The Learning Tree International, a world leader in hands-on training for Technology Professionals. Mr. Rodokanakis has also appeared as a guest on a number of radio and TV shows.

A retired Special-Agent-in-Charge, Mr. Rodokanakis conducted a broad range of criminal, civil, and administrative investigations in more than 60 countries. He interacted with senior public and private sector officials at the highest executive levels, both in the United States and overseas. During his career with the Federal Government, Mr. Rodokanakis served as a Foreign Service Officer before being appointed to the Department of Interior where he managed investigations for the Office of Inspector General. Mr. Rodokanakis has given presentations and lectures at conferences and training seminars, and has been invited to address national conferences. He has developed training modules and has delivered specialized training presentations in the areas of computer forensics and white collar crime
investigations.

Mr. Rodokanakis earned a Master of Education degree in Human Services from Boston University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Certificate of Studies in Law Enforcement from the University of Maryland.

Additionally, Mr. Rodokanakis has received extensive training in the fields of Computer & Digital Forensics, Computer and Government Frauds, White Collar Crimes, Public Corruption, Money Laundering, and Financial Investigations.

Jim Buckley, GCIH, GCFE, GCFA

Jim was employed with the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Special Agent for 28 years.

 

For twenty years, Jim was the FBI lead investigator for hundreds of criminal cases, resulting in convictions in a vast range of criminal violations to include homicide, assault on a federal officer, possession of child pornography, bank robbery, bank embezzlement, illegal drugs, and kidnapping. He also testified as the lead FBI investigator in federal court on dozens of occasions.  

After twenty years of working cases, Jim was transferred to the FBI cyber squad, and following one year of specialized training became a certified computer forensics examiner for the FBI.

For the next eight years until his retirement, Jim worked as an FBI Forensic Examiner and a member of the Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) in Indiana. CART teams are located in all FBI field offices and are responsible for the collection, seizing, recovering, analyzing and presenting of digital data in support all the field investigations. Jim participated in excess of 100 search warrants as a CART member, many of which required on-scene imaging and triage of digital data.  During this time, Jim testified as a computer forensics examiner in federal court for criminal cases involving police corruption, public corruption, and child pornography. Jim has testified as an expert witness in computer forensics in both the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana and U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida.

Jim maintains GIAC certifications as an Incident Handler (GCIH), Forensic Examiner (GCFE), and Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
